ThreadBound is a Love Pattern Reading. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we take care of it. We keep this simple on purpose.
Depending on what you use, we may collect:
Your birth date is optional. You can skip it and still get your result. If you give it, we use it only if you later buy a reading. Nothing is sold on this site yet. If that changes, we will update this page before we take any payment.
We use this information to:
We do not use your answers to guess how another person feels inside. We do not sell your personal information.
Personal information is anything that can identify you, or that you tell us about your life. For ThreadBound that includes:
Birth details and relationship answers are sensitive. We treat them with extra care.
We collect only what we need for the reading you asked for. Your birth date is optional, and we use it only if you later buy a reading. We do not use birth details for ads or for any other product.
We do not try to find or identify the other person you write about. We do not contact them. What you type is used only to shape your reading.
How we protect it:
Two vendors handle email for us. Resend delivers your result email, so it receives your email address and your result. Brevo holds our email list and sends the daily reading, so it receives your email address and a few labels drawn from your answers. Neither receives your birth date.
We keep PII only as long as we need it to deliver your result, to send the daily reading while you are subscribed, to answer a question, or to follow the law. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or strip it so it cannot point back to you.
You can ask us to send you a copy of your PII, to fix it, or to delete it. Write to [email protected].
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it. We never give anyone your answers, your birth date, or your result so they can show you ads.
This site uses the Meta pixel. It is a small piece of code from Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. It tells us when someone visits, starts the quiz, finishes it, or gets a result, so we can see whether our ads reach the right people. To do that, it sends Meta basic device data and, in hashed form, your email address. It never sends your answers, your birth date, or your result. Under California law (CPRA), this can count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising.
You can opt out. Use a browser setting or extension that blocks trackers, turn off ad tracking in your Meta ad settings, or write to [email protected] and ask us to opt you out.
California residents can write to [email protected] to ask what we have, to delete it, or to opt out of sharing.
We use small files on your device so the site works, so we remember where you are in a reading, and so we can understand how the site is used. The Meta pixel described above also sets a cookie.
ThreadBound is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
